Cool Cat Café's Kīhei location, at 1819 S. Kihei Road in Kukui Mall (Building A), is a retro 1950s-style diner serving burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, grilled cheese, and milkshakes. It is the business's own post-fire reboot: the original Front Street café in Lahaina was lost in the August 2023 wildfires, and the restaurant reopened in Kīhei in 2024. HAWAIʻI Magazine ranked it No. 1 on its 2025 list of Maui's best cheap eats.
The restaurant's own site lists Kīhei hours of 10:30 AM–9 PM daily, with the phone at (808) 667-0908. HAWAIʻI Magazine's 2025 prices ran about $13.50 for its signature burger and chicken sandwich, $11.50 for a grilled cheese, and $10.50 for a hot dog, with a 2–3 PM happy hour and 20% off for Hawaiʻi ID holders.
