Hauʻula Loop Trail
Kāne'ohe to Windward / Toward North Shore
Hauʻula Loop Trail is a forested loop hike that combines shaded rainforest, native vegetation,
and occasional panoramic ridge viewpoints. Unlike exposed ridge hikes such as Olomana or
Crouching Lion, Hauʻula Loop remains mostly beneath the forest canopy, making it a
comfortable option even on warmer days.
The trail is maintained as part of Hawaiʻi's Nā Ala Hele Trail & Access Program and is
considered one of the island's classic moderate forest hikes. Hawaii DLNR
