Mokulēʻia Trail
North Shore Oahu
Mokulēʻia Trail is located within the Mokulēʻia Forest Reserve on Oʻahu's northwest side. The
trail climbs through native dry forest and upland ridges before reaching spectacular viewpoints
overlooking the North Shore and the Pacific Ocean.
Many hikers begin by hiking the Mokulēʻia Forest Reserve Access Road before connecting to
the single-track trail near Peacock Flats. Because of its remoteness, this hike offers a
completely different experience from Oʻahu's popular tourist trails.
Storm damage and access restrictions occasionally affect portions of the access road, so
always verify current conditions before visiting. Hawaii DLNR
