ʻUalakaʻa Trail is one of Oʻahu's best beginner-friendly forest hikes. Located inside Puʻu
ʻUalakaʻa State Wayside above Honolulu, this short loop winds beneath a dense tropical canopy
before connecting with several trails in the Honolulu Mauka Trail System.
While many visitors stop only for the famous overlook, the trail offers a peaceful rainforest walk
just steps away from one of the island's best panoramic viewpoints. It is an excellent family hike
